A few FO's and WIP's

Good work, Jenelle! You’re a knitting fiend!

The baby and coca-cola blankets are done with a garter st border with st st body. It’s not that hard really. Cast on a number of stitches(I casted on 11), and decide how big you want your border to be. The border on the coca cola blanket is 5 sts, and the border on the baby blanket is 2 sts.

Thank you all for the comments!

Great stuff! I love the pink hat, the pattern is really nice.

Couldn’t those baby blankets be like a scarf for an adult? Well, I’m making stuff to sell and I love scarves… I like the way it has the holes along the edges. Did you do a yo every time you got the edge or what?

Everything looks great Jenelle!

Yes, that’s what I did.

How do you make baby blankets into scarves? :??

hi again:)
not meaning to be dense, but on the ST st diag baby blanket…
you said CO 11 sts, decide how you want the border to be…
got that…
now what i need help with is: after casting on, do you knit that row, only or do you do ur incs with YO on the first row or what?
on the diag garter that i do, i co 5 sts knit a row
then inc every row til its as wide as i want then do the same with a dec on every row
thanx
any help is appreciated
mary~

when I start one of these dishrags, and it’s just a small triangle with the string hanging off, I hold it up and tell my husband I’m knitting some new thong undies. tee hee.

Knit the row without YO, and then on the second row you knit five, YO, knit 1, YO, knit five. Then on the next row, knit five, purl until you get to the last 5 sts, knit them, and basically that’s all you do.
