A few FO's and a WIP

I haven’t been taking pics of my FO’s…I’m lazy, sorry.

Anywho, here’s what I have (sorry about the colors, the lighting in my living room isn’t too good):

The first is a hat and mitten set for a friend’s DD who will be turning 2. I got the pattern from Sprout with a few modifications. It turned out bigger than planned - I didn’t realize how stretchy moss stitch is. So, I sewed in the corners. I don’t know if you can tell by the pic. The mittens are from here. It was easy peasy. These are my first mittens. I couldn’t figure out how to avoid getting little gaps where the thumb meets the mitten, so I went back and sewed them shut. The yarn is Plymouth Encore Worsted. I really liked working with it.

The second is a felted clutch from Weekend Knitting. I used various colors of WOTA. I made a few of these as xmas gifts for friends. This one is for me. I still have to make the liner and sew on the zipper. I’ll take pics once it’s finished.

The last one is the ever-famous scrunchable scarf. It’s for a girlfriend who’s having a really rough first trimester. This is her first pregnancy, and she didn’t expect to be praying to the porcelain gods all day. So, I’m making this to help cheer her up. She  anything pink. I think I CO a few too many stitches. oh, well. I don’t know what yarn this is - it’s a boucle that I got from A. C. Moore. Nothing fancy or $$, but it’s soft.

Great job!!

:cheering: I’m anxious to see the clutch completely finished! Don’t forget to post!

Very nice!! I like the way you reversed the colors in the mittens! Your scarf got long, fast!

Very nice!! I also love the color effect of the mittens (and hat). I’m sure she will look so cute in them.

Of course, everything looks wonderful! I just finished a sprout hat, too, but I never would have thought to color block it that way. Guess, what my next project is? LOL!

Beautiful FOs!! :inlove:

The hat and mittens set is adorable! I really like the clutch too; those are great colors. And, the scarf looks fantastic. How sweet of you to knit that for your friend. I’m sure she will absolutely love it!
