Dear Ones,

I have felted 2 bags so far – one with Galway and the other with WOA. With both patterns I used 2 strands of yarn. Is this necessary or can I get away with just using one strand? I was afraid that if I used only one strand it would be too thin.

I made a booga bag with a single strand of WOTA and once felted it became very thick and sturdy. I guess it depends on what the pattern asks for, but single stranded definitely works.
