As soon as my backordered order ships, I’m going to have four skeins of Malabrigo, two in Stone Blue and two in Apricot. Does anyone have any good pattern ideas for this? I’d rather make something that uses a good amount of the yarn, instead of just a bunch of hats or scarfs.

How about a scarf like the [color=blue]Clapotis[/color] from Knitty?
I saw one done in Malabrigo and it was just beautiful.

I have a clapotis knit out of Malabrigo, but the pattern used up almost 4 skeins. Since you have 2 skeins each of 2 different colors…that wouldn’t work.
Maybe you could alter the pattern to make a skinnier Clapotis…
With only 2 skeins I can’t think of anything besides scarves!!

If the 2 colors work well with each other maybe you could alternate rows – drop one strand and use the other and just carry the yarn up the side as you go.
