5% nylon okay for laceweight?

Hi guys

I know how important natural fibre content is when it comes to kntting lace, so it can be blocked. What about something that’s 5% nylon? All the other fibres are natural (merino, angora and cashmere!!!). 5% should make it block enough even for lace right?

I made a Swallowtail shawl using sock yarn a month or so ago, and it came out fine.

When I wore it to my LYS, the owner complimented me on it, and I mentioned that after I made it I had heard that using nylon in lace might not work right – did I need to be worried? She told me that the nylon content was so low it wouldn’t be a problem.
