Cowl is Sankaty from Designer Knitting Winter 2020/21 designer Rosann Fleischauer in Sirdar Girlfriend. I also knitted two with contrast dolour denim for my daughters. I loved learning Latvian braid.
Sweater is from the same magazine. It is Ficus, designer Sarah Hatton. I used another Sirdar yarn. It might be a Hayfield. I love the shape, the eyelets, ribbing and rolled hems. Also the three quarter sleeves. It is effective, practical and comfortable.
The cardigan is from Mode at Rowan collection one 002 designer Martin Storey. I used an inexpensive recycled yarn.
And lastly for now for the blanket wrap. I began with the cable strips then added some horizontal sections and textured and lace stitches. It began as a project to use up most of a 400g ball and included some Drops and other brands. All the stitches are forest Uploading: C5AD2D1A-58A8-408F-AA77-E92036B0EFC5.jpeg… Uploading: 65FE821D-248B-4900-B69E-11600E6696EF.jpeg… Uploading: 73B82C3F-9A67-4E10-BE4F-DBC5277060CF.jpeg… and woodland themed.

Can you try uploading again, maybe one per line? The projects sound lovely but the photos didn’t show up. Are you using the preview pane (to the right of the Reply box) which shows the photos as you upload them?
Apologies. I did download which I think stopped the process.
I don’t know whether the whole text went. I’ll just try sending the photos.
Regards
Judy
Hi have tried sending the photos separately. I don’t think I have the preview pane on my phone.
I will have to give up now.
Thank you for your help.
My new yarn has just arrived!
Kind regards
Judy

Wow you’ve been busy!
What is the stitch called with the orange and cream yarn? Or is it knit with 2 strands together? I love that effect its very attractive.
Beautiful work.
It is called Latvian braid. There are three repetitions of the pattern on the cowl and each rep is three rounds long. Round/row one is a foundation row of stranded colourwork. On round two you twist the strands creating arrows and on round three you unravel the yarn twisting in the opposite direction. There are some videos on YouTube showing how to do it. It is usually daintier, like an edging for a hat.
Oh it’s lovely. I’ll have to keep this in mind.
Thank you
