3x3 Garter rib

Hi I was wondering if anybody knew how to do a 3x3 garter rib? I’m kind of confused on this part of the pattern.http://community.livejournal.com/hp_knitting/592672.html heres the link to make it easier

Here’s one variation, does this seem right for the pattern?

[I]Round 1[/I]: [K3, p3] to end.
[I]Round 2[/I]: K all sts.

Most patterns have instructions on them for the stitch so check that out.
