3rd & 4th FO! Felted Indian Pottery Bag & Scarf

This past week, I finished my 3rd and 4th items. The felted bag was actually very easy and I enjoyed learning about knitting in the round. I used Lopi Icelandic Wool in Fire Tweed on sz. 13 circulars.

The scarf is for my Mom for Christmas. It is in Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick Charcoal with a crochet border in Fisherman. I used sz. 15 needles and sz. K crochet hook.

I love them both but the bag is soo cute;) I love the color. Was it hard to do?Do you have a pattern?

Great work! I love the bag- it’s just awesome and the scarf is a lovely gift.

The bag was very easy. The hardest part for me was picking up stitches after I started the bottom of the bag. I knit very tight, so I used really small DPNs to open up the stitches a bit before I tried putting the circulars through. This was a pattern that I got in a class I am taking, but I could scan it and email to you if you’d like. Just PM me your email address and I will be happy to send it to you!

Both are very beautiful but I think the bag is my fave! Great job!

I love both, but the bag is just great! Is it already felted? It is hard to tell on my computer?

They are both great, but I love that bag!

Ditto!! Both projects are great, but I love that little bag too!! Great job!

OOOOHHHHHH love that bag

Yes - it is already felted, but it doesn’t look exactly like I had hoped. My friend, who is teaching the knitting class that I am taking, said that because I knit so tightly it was harder to felt. I probably should have gone up a sz. or two in needles to get the felted look that I wanted. HTH!

They look great… I love the bag…perfect for knitting projects…:happydance:
