I want to knit a hooded vest and I am done with the vest, but now I am confused on how to make the hood. How do I “3-needle bind-off” ? How do I fold the hood in half when I am knitting horizontally…it will look funny…since the fold is supposed to be vertical on hoods. Thanks !

What you do is knit the hood flat. Imagine the hood at the back of your head and the sides of your knitting around your face. The seam will be at the top center.
