Can someone explain a 3/3 Cable Decrease. I am making the Saffron afghan from Fall 2006 Interweave and it says to do row same as first row of each chart only instead of 3/3 RS cable do a 3/3 cable decrease. Then it says to refer to Stitch guide but I can not find Stitch guide.:help:
I really don’t know what they mean by a 3/3 cable decrease. But have you looked in the back of the magazine for the stitch guide? It should have the directions in there. It might be called the glossary.

Thanks for your reply. I did look in the back of the magazine and nothing on the cable decrease, unless of course I am blind, which could be the case. When they referred to other instructions they gave a page number but in this case they just said “stitch guide”. I am wondering if it is a separate book/publication Interweave puts out.
I doubt they’re asking you to refer to a separate book. I don’t have that issue, but I just looked in another issue. The stitch guide (on this pattern) is listed at the very start of the pattern, before the notes. Hope that helps…
