Can anyone help with this part of the pattern please? Only managed the 2x2 rib, but now totally confused

Not sure how to rib 2 tog either !
First, which size did you pick? The numbers in square brackets indicate how many rib stitches to do for the other sizes. If you’re doing the first size, just rib 3 stitches before following the rest of the row’s instructions.
To rib 2 together, look at what the first stitch is in the pair you need to work together. If it’s a knit, you’ll knit them together, and purl them together if the stitch is a purl.
Edit - I see you circled the 3rd size, so you’ll be ribbing 4 stitches, then decreasing, *work 6 more rib stitches, rib 2 together 7 times, and finish the row with 4 rib stitches.

I’ve just tried that and after the 7 lots of k2 tog I’m left with far more than 4 stitches to rib? But I do have the 58 stitches left as it states for my size
You may not be working the complete repeat which it (rib 6 stitches, rib2tog). That sequence is repeated 7 times.
Rib 4, rib2tog
(rib 6, rib2tog) x7
rib 4.
So the repeat is rib6, rib2tog, rib 6, rib2tog, rib 6, rib2tog and so on.
