2aaT question

I am doing 2 at a time for the first time and I was told to watch amy’s video but the only one I can find is for doing one sock at a time. I’m stumped and figured that the video would be able to solve my problems.

Does anyone have any idea why I am having such trouble finding the video? Several people on another site sent me a link but it was the one sock at a time video. any help would be really appreciated.

Not sure which video they mean, but in any case, what are you having problems with?

and are you using one circ/magic loop or 2 circ method?

Hi, I’m doing Magic Loop and trying to learn it and at the same time do Toes Up. so I decided to give myself a break and learn Magic Loop from the cuff down first ( I have MMO book) and after I’ve mastered that THEN I’ll learn how to do the toes up bit.

Sometimes I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew. This was the case with the 2aaT and Toes Up. It’s a matter of learning how to walk before signing up for the 100 yd dash.

Thanks for answering - have a great day.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the MMO book? I am also trying to find a good tutorial on 2 at a time on 2 circs (only because I don’t have the long needle for the Magic Loop)

Thanks!

I think its Melissa Morgan-Oakes.

but her book is 2 socks/2 circ method, not magic loop. It’s a pretty good book, I’ve got it from my library right now.

Here’s a website should help, too:

Yes it is the 2 At A Time Book by Melissa Morgan-Oakes. It is a wonderful book with really clear photos. And tons of hints and lots of patterns too.

I can’t afford to buy a lot of books so mostly I get them from the library but the 2aaT book is one I knew I had to own.

Ummm…not to differ with you, but I think if you take a closer look at Melissa’s book you’ll see it is indeed 2 socks/1 long circular method, not two circs. I learned her method of magic loop from this very book.

Ooops - you are so correct. The book I’ve got from the library is A Gillingham’s Knittig Circles Around Socks. This one is 2 socks/2 circs.
