2006 Knitting Pattern a Day - Gift!

I’m so excited! My sister gave me the 2006 Knitting Pattern A Day Calendar, which has (of course) over 300 patterns. I’ve already chosen my faves and moved them to the front of the box. Cool!

Cool!

I’ve also got one of those - tell me, have you decided how you are going to store all those patterns? I was thinking of finding some kind of binder, but I dunno. Or are you just keeping them in the box?

 I love mine…I got 2 for Christmas  One by the computer, one in the bedroom

I think I’ll just keep mine in the box, because it’s so nice. I love the way it stands up and holds the patterns for display!

I have one also. I just move each day to the back of the box. I took out the cardboard spacer in the back so it was easier to put them back there.

I  my pattern a day calendar. I have it on my desk at work, and it usually makes me wish I was back at home knitting! So far, I have very anally kept the patterns in date order when I really should be pulling out those I’m interested in kinitting!!

I got, too, and really like it! :inlove: I’ve knit the Annie Modesitt scarf, Alison’s Scarf. There are some cool totes in there.

Denise, that is really helpful! :inlove: I immediately bookmarked this link for future reference when needed. Your post prompted me to follow suit and put a direct link to the Annie Modesitt scarf pattern, Alison’s Scarf, since the one in the calendar and the one on her website are not quite identical: http://www.modeknit.com/blog/alisons_scarf.pdf. I disagree with the number of pattern repeats in either version of this pattern because both turn out much shorter than your average scarf. So, if anyone knits this scarf, just note that you can repeat the lace pattern until the scarf is the length you want. Otherwise, you’ll have a neck warmer rather than a scarf.

That is what post-it flags are for Holly!!! :happydance:

This is me being jealous! :verysad:

I try to keep from peeking ahead. I put the ones I like sideways at the back.

Awww, now i want one… Maybe if i am very good & tell Santa i’ll get one for Xmas…or better yet my birthday is coming up in July…but that means that I’d have a wholeeeeeeeeeeeee lot of catching up to do

Rhy :XX:

that looks like such a cool thing!

I love, love Annie Modesitt’s designs  I fashioned the square in Amy’s afghan after this pattern  This scarf is on my ‘to do’ list…but it will be longer & I will change from a seaman’s scarf to a regular one
