2 knitting terms clarified

Im fairly new to knitting, and Im looking at a pattern for an afgan. There are 2 terms that Im a little confused on. The first is YF. I know this means yarn forward. The pattern is YF K1. Now does this mean I bring the yarn forward as if I was going to purl? The second is K2 together twice. Ive done K2 together, but what does the twice mean??

Yes, yf is yarn forward, and you bring the yarn between the needles as if you are going to purl. When you knit the next stitch, you’ll get an increase and an eyelet.

k2tog twice just means to do two k2tog in a row.

Thanks Ingrid!! I thought, but with new terms, I tend to second guess myself!! Now Im ready to tackle my new project!!
