2 at once Magic Loop

Help! I want to make 2 sleeves at once using Magic Loop. I found several tutorials for 2 socks at once, followed the cast on instructions, no problem. I know I must be missing something very simple here. When I join and knit the first round of the front sleeve, how the heck do I get to the one thats in the back? Sleeve #1 is now in the way! What am I missing?

You have to have the stitches divided so that you have the ‘front’ half of each sleeve on one side of the magic loop. So when you’re actually knitting, you work the first half of one sleeve, the first half of the second sleeve, then you turn the work around to the other side of the ‘loop’ and work the second half of the second sleeve, then the second half of the first sleeve. Does that help??

I’m still confused. I have the stitches set up correctly. When I knit the fron of sleeve #1, it is now joined in the round. How would I get to the front of the second sleeve?

Here are a pair of socks I was doing Magic Loop:

You knit the 2 fronts, and then you knit the 2 backs.

If this doesn’t help, maybe you could post of photo of your progress?
