I hook up with a 20yr spinner. She’s gone SABLE with her stash. I get a great free haul of fibery goodies. Silks of all kinds, lots of wools and blends, mohair, cotton, and some of her own alpaca from “Norman.” Norman makes some soft and oh so buttery fiber. He’s a cutie little critter too.
So, get into a guild if all possible. I learned a lot from this one visit and made some great spinner friends.
It was a total blast. Then I topped it off by going to a knit meet right afterwards. I’m high on fiber.
