So I told my hubby last year I was going to learn to knit. I tried and it was not working. I then found this site and it helped me so much. Well here is my first project I did. I knitted a poncho for my youngest. My oldest would like one know.
I am so proud of myself. It is something I have been waiting to learn to do for some time. I have been crocheting for years and wanted a new challenge. I can’t wait to learn to make more things.

I too started out crocheting. You will enjoy having both skills and being able to decide what project would work best for each medium, use crochet for embellishments, just all sorts of options now! It sounds like you better get started on the poncho for your oldest now!:yay:

That looks great! I’m going to start off with knitting, then sewing, and then maybe crochet. Yes, I can’t sew. I wanted to know how to, but never got the chance to learn. Once I get good at knittting, I’ll advance. Keep on knitting!
