Ok…I’m still totally a yarntard! So tell me, I saw a sign that said 100% Merino wood was machine washable is that true? I was thinking of getting it for some socks for mom for Christmas.
Merino can be machine washable. Lorna’s Laces is.
Lisa Souza has some hand dyed washable Merino that is lovely. If it is washable, the label should say “superwash”.
Some of it is, some of it isn’t. Depends on which one.
It’s true! I just bought some to make a hat for the BF…I thought it would be better to be able to wash it since he gets sweaty :ick:
Merino is just a type of wool. It comes from the Merino Sheep. It happens to be a very fine, soft wool, which is why it’s popular and desirable, but it’s still wool. And just like wool can be superwash, so can merino.
