World Wide Knit In Public Day will be celebrated in the Dayton, Ohio, Area on Saturday, June 14, 2008. 9 am - 3 pm at Five Rivers MetroParks 2nd Street Market.
This FREE local event is open to the public and isn't limited to just knitters...all yarn and fiber enthusiasts are invited...crocheters, felters, needlepointers, etc. There is no cost to participate and no RSVP is necessary. All you need to bring to the event is a chair and your yarn/fiber projects.
The events will be inside 2nd Street Market at the east end of the building, next to the area where local musicians play...and just a few steps to some of the great food and beverages offered at the market. Restrooms, ample parking, and handicap access is right near the area where we will be gathering.
Local vendors are welcomed to bring along business cards or other flyers/information. Groups, guilds, and other organizations are encouraged to provide flyers, pamphlets, or other information about when and where they meet, what they do, etc.
No selling is allowed.
