*Knit Row 1-8
Repeat Row 5-8, 3 times*

Row 1: p2, k2, p2, repeat from * to *
Row 2, 4, 8: k2, p2, k2, repeat from * to *
Row 3: p2, yarn over, k2, pass yarn-over loop over the 2k sts and drop it, p2, repeat from * to *
Row 5: p2, k1, yarn over, k1, p2, repeat from * to *
Row 6: k2, p3, k2, repeat from * to *
Row 7: p2, slip 1, k2, pass slip st over 2k sts and drop it, p2 repeat from * to *

I'm glad you posted what yarn- I bought a pile of the SWS in natural plum b/c is it so pretty, then couldn't figure out what to do with it!! I love the hiking scarf idea. And that is one luck baby getting that blankie!! Marykz
I have another scarf I'm making out of SWS (it's pink and beige) that looks awsome. When I get home tonight I will get a picture of it, I think you'll like that one too. SWS really does look different when you knit it up then it does in the skein. I've only made a few thing with SWS, but they always look nice.
But like I said I'll try to get some pictures tonight and post them for you.
