The pattern calls this a jumper, but it's really a dress; currently knitting this in my own self-imposed (late) Knitting Olympics. I gave myself 16 days to make this for my dd's birthday (this coming Saturday). I have finally finished one side - I haven't decided yet whether this will be the front or back since they are both knitted the same. I received this one page pattern from a great YS in northern Chi-town. After much frustration, I finally wrote it out row by frustrating row and ended up with a 4-page pattern I could actually understand
Once I have a picture of the FO on my precious little model, I will post it here and PM the pattern to anyone who wants it.
Here's the current progress:
Once I finally understood how to finish the 1st side, I'm so much more confident about starting the next side, now it's "just knitting"
I am also going to try converting this pattern so I can knit the size 5 in the round for my older daughter.
P.S. I may need some serious encouragement when it comes time to seam this :shifty:
