Its called patience!!! Itis also pure mohair...so I am told but thanks for the tip its good enough for me and if there is any over I can use it for something.
I did find some mohair
- I would have had to knit it double and
2 the other...well you could tell there was a man made somewhere in the yarn.
The Spanish where i live absolutely love to do things and every shop I have been in in gandia, there have been people knitting
There are lots of shops selling material for sewing and lots of what I call back to the 60s where there are rolls and rolls of fabric. It used to be an area for fabric making and then at the turn of the century they introduce fabric from China and India. The Spanish revolted and burned the factories down.
All markets have stalls where there are second hand clothes stalls. Piled high you ratch around to find something!!! Each garment is 2€ - 5€ never more .
Sometimes you can pick up a sweater someone has knit and pull it back. Have done that twice. There is also a big thing in recycling clothes. I will miss it if people vote to come out of the common market.
So thanks again. I know where I can pick up mohair for a euro a ball might not have black but then not been into Valencia yet for wool but I have lingered in a couple of massive shops.
I will be back with my next project........pulled back a lovely deep lilac coat. Enough for mother and daughter!!!!! Thanks again.
