Could anyone explain the line under KNIT FRONT BAND: switch to smaller needles and knit across 6 stitches evenly spaced w k2tog......
Confused over here
I should mention I have 38 stitches currently. I am doing the smaller size
It wants you to work 6 decreases, evenly spaced, on this row. I'm horrible at figuring this out, I'll have to leave it to someone else.
Yes, GG's got it, approximately evenly spaced decreases. The pattern suggests every 7sts meaning work 5sts, then k2tog and repeat. You'll have to alternate some sets of 6sts too. So maybe k5, k2tog, k4, k2tog, k5, k2tog, etc.
Okay good bc I was so lost! I finally figured out I would need to do a bit of math but nothing I jotted down was equal so it threw me off! Thanks ladies!!
