Hello, I am trying to knit a mouse toy for my cat. The pattern starts as follows:
Row1: Inc1 into each st.
Row3: (k1, inc1) twice, K2 (inc1, k1) twice
Please help me with Row3. When I am starting row 3, I have 6 stitches. If I follow the instructions how they are written for row 3, I would do the following:
knit1, inc1, knit1, inc1, knit1, knit1, inc1, knit1, inc1, knit1
but that's 10 stitches, not 6. So what is the proper way to do Row3? Is (k1, inc1) supposed to be one stitch, and if so, what is the significance of (k1, inc1) vs. (inc1, k1)?
Thank you so much for your help.
