I just bid on and won!! 10 skeins of fingering weight yarn, Jojoland Melody, 220 yards per skein, 100% wool, on E-bay. It's a beautiful variegated...pale greens, pinks. blues yarn. I was thinking of a lacy scarf, maybe a shawl. I don't have any grandbabies in my future (that I know of, at least), so I was thinking of maybe something for myself. I don't know why, but when I knit for myself, I feel guilty. Anyone else feel this way  Any and all suggestions will be totally welcome.
p.s. I finally tackled a small Fair Isle project (a hat) for my nephew and it's turning out really great. I'll take some pictures when it's finished. What a tangled mess Fair Isle is! But it was something I wanted to try just to see if I could do it. Also, I've made two pairs of clogs from the Fiber Trends pattern, one for my daughter for Christmas and one for my DH. Those things are so quick! Love the clogs. I see more in my future
