Those are exactly the ones I use, for the same reason.
I sometimes do a regular google search too, especially when I'm looking for something unusual that may not be found in the other databases. I just type the name of the dish and "recipe" and occasionally add any essential modifiers. When I find a few good candidates, I send them to DH and he'll develop his own interpretation of the dish -- as a former chef, he can't just use someone else's recipe verbatim. :teehee: I have to admit though, that on the rare occasion when I cook, I usually end up making a hybrid too. I guess it's just natural to want to take the best things from different sources, and make your own special version.
