OK, I'm making this felted bag. It's knit in the round.
You are supposed to bind off all the stitches but four on one of the sides. Got it. Then the pattern says:
Work these 4 sts back and forth in garter stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) until strap is 14'' long. Bind off.
Twist the strap a few times and sew it to the opposite side of the bag.
Felt the bag.
I don't know if I should do garter or stockinette.
In the picture, the handle looks kinda rounded like
felted stockinette handles usually look. However, I don't know what it would like if you twisted a stockinette handle. The not as pretty part where the stitches roll on top of each other would show...
What should I do?
I went to the publishers website where they had 23 pages of corrections! But, this one didn't make the list.
