I posted awhile back about how knitting lace sucks. Someone gave me the link to info about using a lifeline, and now I love it! I'm totally addicted to lifelines. I'm using them in everything. I hate trying to reinsert needles, especially in circular knitting, and lifelines are so much better!
I'm about 1/3 of the way through a lace scarf, and I'm through with the first repeat of the 2nd chart of the Adamas shawl, which I'm really enjoying. It's like the lifeline has removed all the pressure! I'm also doing my first fingering weight socks (I've done mostly baby socks in worsted weight) in a semi lacy pattern and they're so fun to knit (I use a lifeline every 8 rows on those too). I started a lace stole in worsted weight the other day, and it feels so HEAVY, I've gotten so into the lace-weight projects I'm working on. Ha!
