Yep, at the beginning of the right side rows (on the 'public side' of the garment--the side that will show), knit two stitches, then do the psso.
Then, when you only have four stitches left on the row, k2tog, and then knit the last two.
Just knit (or purl) the next row normally--no decreases.
You're gently forming left and right slants (they'll be more noticeable once you've done a few decrease rows).
