I've read charts before for knitting, and have not had problems. But this one is kicking my butt, and my brain.
here is how I read the chart:
pattern row 1: slip three to cable needle, hold in back, knit 3, knit three from cable needle, purl 6. repeat this 3 more times across.
row 2: purl 6, knit 6 across.
row 3, knit 6, purl 6 across.
row 4, purl 6, knit 6 across
row 5, knit 6, purl 6 across.
row 6: purl 6, slip 3 stitchs to the cable needle, hold in back, knit 3, knit 3 from cable needle. Repeat this 3 more times across.
But this seems really weird. I looked for pattern errata and didn't find any and I know Ingrid would tell me to trust the pattern, but it just seems WRONG!
please help me!
