I've been making milk soap longer than I've been doing fiber arts.
Fiber arts was my 12-step program for soap making, but now I'm doing both!
The soap is made the old fashion way with various oils, lye and 100% Real Milk (fresh from our Jersey cow). Many folks like using goat's milk for soap, but we have a Jersey and my husband said, "No self-respecting cowboy would milk a goat!". The Jersey has a higher cream content than the majority of goats milk, so this soap is actually creamier than the goat's milk I used to make.
They are a minimum of 4 oz each and retail for $5.50 plus shipping (up to 10 soaps will ship for $5.00)
I currently have the following scents (some are essential oils (EO), others are fragrance oils (FO)):
Lavender & Lace (lavender essential oil)
Lemongrass & Sage (EO/FO combo)
Lily of the Valley (FO)
Eucalyptus & Mint (EO combo)
Lavender & Mint (EO combo)
Cool Citrus & Basil (EO/FO combo)
Stress Relief (EO/FO combo)
Sweet Pea (FO)
Lavender/Black Vanilla (EO/FO combo) (black vanilla has a touch of Patchouli!)
Cucumber Melon (FO)
