Last year I did three scarves for myself (given that I'm a guy...not into women's clothing) I guess then they qualify as men's scarves.
1) The Seaman's Scarf from Knitpicks using their Cadena yarn (no longer available). The color was a slate gray
2) A Danica entrelac scarf using Paton's SWS in an earthtone shade. The color changes matched up with the block changes well
3) A Rainy-Day scarf which is basically just a 2x2 ribbing that is 'offset' to produce a wavy ripple rib. I did that in Malabrigo in a midnight blue/purple colorway called Paris Nights or something like that.
All turned out very well and I've gotten compliments on all of them.
I'm basically a jeans/t-shirt/black leather bomber jacket type of guy and I'm comfortable wearing any of them. Hope it helps
