Why are the purls after my cables so loose and sloppy?? I don't understand! I'm actually a very tight knitter typically so loose stitches totally baffle me.
This is a common problem.
I know ArtLady fixes it by twisting the st after the cable, and untwisting when she works the following ws row. She posted on it awhile back. Let me look for it.

I twist the purl by wrapping the yarn the opposite way on the first purl.
ETA- I watched that last video. That's exactly what I do! Great minds...
