i am looking for a easy baby blanket with a chart with symbols
Why do you want to do a pattern with a chart? It's sometimes easier if it's written out. I'm afraid you're going to run into the same problems you had with the teddy bear blanket. I'll see what I can find though.
Here's a chart tutorial that might help. http://www.knitfoundry.com/tutorial/HowToReadCharts.pdf
ETA: Okay, what I'm finding is that the easy blankets do not have charts.
Can you tell us a little more about what kind of blanket you want, who it's for, etc? There are so many beautiful patterns that I'm sure we can find one for you.

Oh. I thought you wanted a baby blanket. :??
can you look for patterns that i can use a 10 1/2 circle needle
he called me and asked me to make him one
Sure. You'll need bulky yarn for that size needle if you want it to not be lacy.
Lion Brand has lots of them like that.. http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60045A.htmlhttp://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/60684.html?noImages=0http://craftyknitting.blogspot.com/2008/08/basketweave-afghan-i-came-up-with-this.html
