I am planning to knit a cardigan or a sweater for my friend's daughter, but I want it to be a surprise :teehee: The problem is the girl is wearing size 5T and is 2.5 years old (will be 3 next march)... I have no kids so I have no idea what 5T means??!!!:?? Does any of you with kids know?? Most of the patterns I am interested in offer sizes according to age (like 2, 3, 4 year old, etc) and then by "translating" that in inches (like 24", 26" 28" for example). My friend said something like the girl is wearing big clothes for her age, apparently 5T is for kids older than 2.5 years old?? Anyway, do you know how many inches a 5T kid's chest should messure?
Sorry, I just haven't had contact with infants or children for a long, long time... :roflhard:
