I'm making a baby sweater in K2P2 pattern, and I'm making increases for the sleeves. What I'm wondering is if there is an increase that I can use that will help me keep the pattern going?
In other words, if I've done P2, then K2 and then need to increase one stitch on that last purl stitch, is there a way to do it so that the purl stitch stays a purl stitch, and the one I make is a knit stitch?
I've looked at the KFB and PFB, but that seems to make either an extra knit stitch or an extra purl stitch. I know I'm overthinking it, that the increase in the long run won't really matter because it will be lost in the seam, but it got me wondering if such an increase was even possible......:??
