Wow! That was fast -- thank you KnitQueen! I'm knitting into the front of the 2nd stitch on the left needle and then coming around and knitting into the front of the 1st stitch. When the 1st stitch loop (2nd one just knitted) has been completed, I slip it to the right needle, as usual, and then slip the 2nd stitch (1st one just knitted) over to the right hand needle.
Is there a loop that should be getting dropped as I go? It seems to happen that way when I do the Tw2L, so that one appears to be going as it's supposed to and I start and end with two stitches.
I hope you can picture what I'm doing from this description. The instructions are from a book of projects for children but, since I'm traveling right now, I xeroxed the pages I needed and don't have access to anything instructional from the book.
