I just frogged over half a sweater.... :wall: :pout: :thud: :gah: (sorry for the emoticon overkill, but I really am frustrated!!)
This is the first time I have frogged a large piece, and it was painful! I'm working on the StitchDiva simple knitted bodice, and I decided I didn't like how high the lacework ended up-- it's supposed to be below the bustline. Unfortunately, the pattern seems to be written for those... less busty so to speak. The lace started about 3" too high. So I frogged... and frogged. Now to add 3" of stockinette before the lacework. So much work is gone...
I'm not losing hope, just very very frustrated, and I know my husband will think I'm nuts. I'm just putting too much work and love for this pattern into this, and I want it just right. Is that completely insane? I want it to be something I'll wear, and if it doesn't fit right, what was the point? I guess I just want to know that I am not completely insane... only a perfectionist, I hope.
