I got a package today from Sandy(carolina red), and there was something in there that I can't identify what it is. I asked her but she said that she doesn't know what it's for either. Can someone help? :??
Pictures are below.
It's for making Hairpin Lace. I'm sure if you google it you can find all kinds of directions for it.
Ohh thank you ingrid!!
I had one of these in a care package from a lady that takes my morning exercise class with. I've yet to try using it though.

I'm glad Ingrid's around because my guess had something to do with croquet.
www.stitchdiva.com currently has quite a few hairpin lace patterns (for sale). They seem to think it's coming back. I didn't learn it the last time it was big.I may skip it this time, too.
 :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:I have 2 of these. They are used for crocheting. Don't know why I have 2... Hairpinlace example... http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/dagmar/dagmar.html
This is actually a crochet tool that I own, but have never used.
I once saw an older lady on a bus using one, and I was facinated by how it worked. I also remember cringing because she was working away on a filthy bus with WHITE yarn!
This website tells how to use it...http://www.crochettreasures.com/hairpin.htm
