I decided this winter that, since my knitting skills are getting better, I would knit up some hats for my girls. I just completed these this past week. It was my first time doing hats and after getting the hang of the DPN's it was a piece of cake!
The yarn is from KnitPicks and is there Shine Worsted in Blush and Shine Sport in Crocus (both a dream to work with). I used size 6 needles for my oldest daughters hat and size 5 needles for my youngest. Pattern is from HeadHuggers.org and is their Lace-Edged Womans Hat. As soon as my other order arrives from KnitPicks, I'm going to make myself the same hat.
My girls love their hats however, the only thing that I'm not to fond of is the peak at the top. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I followed the pattern exactly for the decreases on both hats and they both have it.
