I'm new to knitting and this forum which I have learned so much from. I am working on my first project, a beanie and am now at the decreasing rounds part.
It reads like this:
Decrease Round 1: *k7, k2tog, rep from *
Decrease Round 2: *k6, k2tog, rep from *
Decrease Round 3: *k5, k2tog, rep from *
I am just on the first decrease round and I have just decreased my last stitch but now I have 3 stitches left on the left needle to go before my stitch marker. My question is this: do I just knit these 3 stitches to complete the first decrease round and start over for the Decrease round 2 and knit 6 (then having 9 knit stitches in a row before decreasing again) OR do I "overlap" the first decrease round with the 2nd one and "count" those last 3 stitches from Round 1 into the first 6 stitches of Round 2?
Sorry if this is confusing..I just don't want to mess up, I've been so careful and have already started over on this project a few times and haven't made it this far!
Thanks so much
