I'm knitting a figure skating skirt for my granddaughter. The pattern said to "(Fold Row) Knit. What does that mean?
I believe that means that is the point where you will fold over your knitting to make the hem.
Sometimes a pattern will have you knit a purl row among a lot of stockinette to mark the place where you'll fold the hem. It does give a hem a nice clean look, too.
Thanks guys. I thought thats what it might mean. I'm assuming that I have to pick the raw edge of the row when I knit which will actually be stitching the hem.
