This is my first attempt at knitting a baby blanket. I knit it on the diagonal and used the pattern for a dishcloth ha ha! It's not perfect but I can't wait to give it to my cousins wife for baby Irelynn.
Here it is
Beautiful! Very well done. Looks nothing like a dishcloth to me! Isn't it great that some things are so adapable? Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Yes so fabulous that all I had to do was use more stitches and ta daa! I am also happy I found use for the yarn!
Woohoo!!! That came out great, LBA! :cheering:
You are just amazing. This blanket looks lovely. I'm sure it will be a family treasure and a much beloved blankie. Well done!
I think it looks like the one that gets dragged around because the child loves it so much. It might not make it heirloom status. :yay:
Oh, that's an adorable baby blanket--lucky kiddo! And you used up the yarn you didn't like, too. That's always a plus!
That's so pretty! You did a great job and I'm sure they will love it! :inlove:
Wonderful work! And what a darling name for the little baby girl: Irelynn!
Oh, this is simply beautiful...!Love the little detail around the edges and the colour is perfect.Nice going... love the baby's name as well... so pretty!TEMA:thumbsup:
Nice and cozy, I am sure the family will appreciate the gift.
Thank you everyone! I am sending it with my mom on Wednesday when she goes to meet her for the first time. Unfortunately I have to work and won't be able to go.
