So, I started a pair of socks and I have a few observations. The yarn is Imagination by KnitPicks, which is fingering weight. It's actually working up really nicely, better than I expected. Soft and smooshy!
OTOH, I am using size 1 DPNs, and I am forecasting that this project will take a bazillion years! Like, they will be trying to slam the lid on my coffin, and I will have one foot hanging out, saying, "Nope, wait a minute, I still have to finish those socks I started in 2013."
I did send for a size 9 sock circular needle. That might help some, and I checked on KnitPicks for tiny interchangeable needle tips, but the smallest they come is a size 4. So how would you make socks with Magic Loop if the smallest needle tip is a 4?
Since I decided I would make socks for everybody for Christmas, I have stocked up on sock yarn, but I'm thinking, I should have bought Ragg wool instead. At this rate nobody will get their socks until Easter!
