I can't figure out this pattern:
set up row: *yo, sl1, k1, psso, rep from *
pattern row: *yo, sl1 k tog the slip st and yo of previous row, rep from *
I know all the stitches but I don't know how to start a row with a yo.
I don't know what they mean by k tog the slip st and yo of previous row but I think it just means to knit together the next two stitches.
The instructions say to always slip as if to purl and with yarn in back. Trying to do this literally, I get all fuddled up, unless it's just simply meaning to insert needle as if to purl, bring yarn from back to front (yo), but then it's a bugger knitting two together.
Has anyone done a pattern with a yo as your first stitch?
