Hi. I'm trying to decide whether to use circular needles of length 32" or 40 " for a 46" chest size knit-in-the-round pullover.
Any suggestions on which might be better?
Either one is fine. The sts on the circular scrunch together more because of the thinner cord. So a circ can hold about 2-3 times the length of the cord easily. I often do a 42" pullover on 29" ones because that's what I've got in that size.
Unless you're knitting with a bulky yarn, I think either would work.
