So, I have noticed that when people do a cable cast on, some twist the stitch before putting it on the needle and others do not. :?? Which is the correct method, if there is one. THANX! :muah:
Check the basic techniques tab at the top of the forum for a video on how to do it properly.
My take though is as long as you're consistent it's no big deal most of the time. :teehee:
Like Jan said, as long as you're consistant, it doesn't matter, but I've found that if you twist the stitch, you get a firmer edge than if you don't.
I believe one way is a purl and the other is a knit. I could be wrong but I think someone told me that.
