Any point in blocking a garment made from homespun? I haven't used it before (it was a request) so I wasn't sure. Should I block the pieces and then seam? Or should seam it all up and then block? Thoughts?
What are you making? I find that homespun just sort of does it's thing. It's one of the most forgiving yarns--it seems to me that no matter how many mistakes or odd stitches you do with it, it still turns out attractive and uniformly fuzzy.
p.s. it's very drape-y, conforming to the body rather than holding it's own shape.
It's sort of a poncho sweater thingy. I think it will be fine. It is quite forgiving. Thanks.
