For those who read my first post, I have fixed the sock problem and have knitted most of 1 sock! (woohoo!) But I now seem to have come across another tricky situation.
This is the pattern I'm knitting. http://www.wooltrends.ca/freepatterns_details.asp?pageCat=159
I'm down to the shaping of the instep and have 9 stitches on 1 needle and 19 on the other (of the 2 heel needles I'm using at the moment) 10 of which is the shaping of the heel. I hope this is making sense.
This link shows a couple of pictures of where I'm at (http://lbjp.tumblr.com/post/60780267661/knitting-problem) because of the heel shaping I'm left with my working yarn in the middle of my heel section when the next step is to pick up stitches from the heel edge.
How do I do this when my working yarn isn't at the end of a row? I've tried purling the remaining stitches from the 'bottom' needle but that gives me the wrong number of rows.
Please help! If you need anything explaining better, I'll try! :teehee:
